Naomi and Joshua's wedding was realllly nice. very sweet. and you can sense God's love overflowing from them both. they are indeed a couple that loves God so much. in case you all dnoe who's naomi and joshua, naomi is someone whom some of us got to know through JTTW. she's one of the sembawang baptist church dancers. a really lovely sister-in-christ and j.b is, of cos, her husband lor. my first time seeing him though.

looking at the both of them. i just think that God is simply so amazing. she's from Singapore (ok, in actual fact she's frm malaysia, but she's been living in singapore for very very long la.) and he's from U.S, Indiana. over 10 000 miles apart, yet God has a plan for them. they're like living so far away from each other, but, god brought them together despite that distance. amazing hor. haha.

so, the first wedding that i've attended this year. 2 more to go! one in june, the other in december. haha, feels like this year, is a "wedding year" (:

exams are finally over. and it marks the end of my year 2 in NP. 1 more year to go! can't believe it is that fast. nxt year march, i'll graduate alr. and then, it's on to another stage of life. one that i need to start thinking and planning now since i have the time ...

thank god that this tiring period is over. feels like a non-stop marathon since the beginning of the year, with projects, presentations and exams, and what's more, this term is a rather short one. but in the midst of all these hecticness and whatnots, God is always so loving and kind. through others, i can see His love and care. thank god for friends! for the booster smses and haha, carmen, thanks for your "energy pill" ah. and thank god for family!! (:

2nd day of cny:
slept at 2+am the night before, cos i studied a little before going to slp. so was kinda tired. went to my great grandma's hse early in the morning. she's 98 this year alr! she has dementia, so she cnt really remember who we are. but that's alright. haha. then we headed to my big aunt's hse for awhile before going to my cousin-in-law's hse for lunch. the lunch buffet was good. watch some documentary show there before heading to wu shimu's hse. karis showed me some photo albums of her and her family. hahaha (: then after an hour or so, we went to my 2nd aunt's hse. by then i was tireddd alr. think each time i sit in the car, i will slp. haha. the cousins were watching some ventriloquist show, haha, we had a good laugh la! (:

then it was back to my paternal grandma's hse for dinner. oh, we had a super fun time playing the "mouse" game. hahaha. the expressions of the younger ones' face were absolutely comical! hahaha. then at night, all of us went to watch CJ7 at vivo. we took up abt 3 rows. hahaha. the show was ok. a lil short, but i did teared a little towards the ending. the CJ7 is so cute. hahaha. and yes, the lil kid can really act! esp. the part when he wants to shout, but cnt cos the father will scold. hahahhahaa!!! by then when i reached home i guess it was alr 1+am.TIREDDD. had a bit of headache alr. coma-ed almost immediately when i touched the bed.

3rd day of cny:
in the morning, my relatives came over to my hse for breakfast, before going to my 3rd uncle's hse for lunch. lunch was rly good. cos it was just plain porridge with some of the teochew dishes. simple and light. super nice after 2 days of buffet food and all the rich stuffs. haha. the younger ones were busy playing with their psp, nintendo ds, computer and whatnots. (kids nowadays ah. super technology alr. to think last time we just play and amuse ourself with toys like legos or boardgames. or sometimes, we just play pretend. haiyo, i feel old.. hahaha) some of us were watching the vcd "Warlords" seriously speaking, i've no idea what that show is abt. cos the english subtitles have absolutely no meaning. the sentences dnt make sense, chinese subtitle is even better, the chinese subtitles are of another totally different movie! haha! was dozing off a little. haha. tired la. then went to my youngest aunt's hse for a short while before heading to my eldest uncle's hse for dinner. played with the kids some card games. haha. was fun (: went home around 11pm like that. tired mann. but managed to study a little before going to slp lat 1+am la. no choice. what to do. haha.

went to church tdy. service seems to be a little shorter than usual. haha. (my dear "3rd person", i hope you're feeling better!) a group of us went to bingshun's hse after church to bai nian. the view frm his hse is not bad. watched abit of ratatouiie(how do you spell it?) and then we had to go as yuexing, carmen and terry had to go to aunty lili's hse while kat was meeting her friend and me? home to study lor. haha. studied for abt 2+ hrs. so taking a break now. exams starts this friday. cnt belive it. ok. break time is going to be over. back to my books soon!

so that's all for cny this year. thank God for the time of bonding and fun (: and now, it's time to hop back onto my 'super express train' ha!

7th Feb: Chu Yi!


went to my paternal grandma's hse tdy morning at around 10+ and we're the first to reach! haha. soon one by one, the families start streaming in and the hse became rly crowded. had a good time talking, playing etc... oh, and the hse is noisyyyy. haha. after that, went to my maternal grandparents' hse. we ate our lunch there. and had a good laugh while watching tv. was kinda tired, so me, mummy, daddy and kor took a nap before heading to Rev. Ke's hse around 4+. and then went back home for awhile, before going to my 3rd aunt's hse for steamboat dinner. was too full to eat much then. now, im back home. feeling a little tired. haha. only went to 4 places tdy and im tired alr. tmr! 6 places to go and bai nian!

1st stop is my great-grandma's hse then to my big aunt's hse, then my cousin-in-law's hse, followed by wu shimu's hse, and then my 2nd aunt's hse and finally back to my paternal grandma's hse. oh yes, not to forget the late night movie too! owell, but it's fun la. going around spore to bai nian (:

ok, time to slp. tmr is a busy fun day!

went back to ctss with yanting tdy to visit my teachers. but not many of them are left in ctss, most have left the sch alr, either they retire, change job or change sch... only have ms tan wenyi, mrs teresa chua, mdm yehidaah and 1 or 2 more teachers left. nevertheless, got to see ms tan tdy. she's studying her masters now! gdness. and she says she's thinking of getting a doctorate. my gdness, soon i'll be calling her doctor tan. haha.

went to vivo with yanting after that to meet up with junhan. it's been ages since we met. think the last time we met was last year's march. chatted quite a bit. haha. had a good time laughing and catching up. and junhan as always, nv fail to make us laugh. haha. i miss our sec sch days la. when we try and avoid the 'stalker' together, when we have impromptu decisions of watching movie, when we talk on the phone for hours, when we laugh abt almost everything, when we study like crazy after school together. and i nv forget how you all took care of me when i fractured my leg in sec 1, coming to sch earlier to help me, accompanying me almost everywhere, helping me with my bag and stuffs, staying back after sch to wait with me for my dad. those were the days man..haha. and when we were chatting, we were like saying, oh no, it's our last year being a teen alr! nxt year we're starting with a 2!! hahaha.

the nxt meet up will be in march, when it's our sec 2 class gathering and in april when it's ctss' speech day. oh! and when me and yanting were walking around while waiting for junhan, i finally saw mrs ali! (: haha. been wanting to meet up with her for so long. was supposed to meet up with her during december last year, but i was too busy la. who knows, tdy, of all places, i saw her at vivo. haha. she's still the same. very motherly and smiley as always (:


tmr's a long and fun day of vistations. and the same on chu er and chu san. oh oh, and i just remembered, on chu er, my family and relatives (father's side) are going to watch midnight movie again! haha. 37 tickets. (it wld have been 40+ tickets, but my youngest aunt's family isnt going, and i think 1 or 2 of my cousins/nephew also) cool huh. think we'll take up abt 2 to 3 rows. my cousin said the ticket person was stunned when my uncle asked for 37 tickets. hahaha. we're watching CJ.7. haha. i love my big family la. we're just so happening as always (:

indeed, indeed. im reminded once again during the sermon tdy. to pray to God, to spend time with Him, to talk to Him, to share with Him... anytime, anywhere. and to place everything into His hands and trust in Him.

im so tired. finally, im left with 1 more presentation on monday. and then it's full speed revision for the final exams. [with a short break in between cos of cny..] can't believe that exams are just 2 wks away. -faints-

i cnt wait for the holidays to come...
