tdy is such a fun day! haha. had a nice baking session during fellowship. and the cookies looked rlly good. and it tasted quite delicious too (: hee. shall let pictures do the talking.






oh. & before we started baking, a little bird flew by, accidentally hit the spinning ceiling fan, and .... the head got seperated from its body. super disgusting cos there's blood being splattered ): we're like screaming in shock lar, cos we suddenly heard a sound and saw smthg flying in directions. gdness. the bird is like so poor thing ... imagine, it was just happily flying and the nxt moment .. it's dead .. urgh .. but anyway, tdy is still quite a fun day (:

tdy is such a special day. it was a mad rush for me & xue'er. haha! super exciting. we're so panicky cos we're running out of time. haha. but all that is worth the while (: i cant do surprises lar. will get super excited & nervous. haa! (:

& when i got back home, i saw this on my table:



the kids from Grace Home asked my older bro to pass it to me!! (: i'm like so super touched and happy lar!! to others it may be nth. but to me, it means alot. inside that big bottle contains many green color kind of ... seed i think. it'll stick onto your shirt ... smthg like velcro like that. and when i was there, the kids and i played with it like crazy, throwing at each other, having so much fun! im so touched by them (: though each time i cldn't go back and visit them, they still remember me and asked abt me (: ... hope that i can go back and see them realll soon (:

it's the 2nd wk in sch alr. starting to feel a lil scared and nervous. yr 2 seems scary. the way the lecturers said it. gdness. feel so pressurizing. i've got 5 core modules, besides AAA, the rest has projects to be completed. gdness. many many research to be done. esp IEF!!

oh. and i have my Industrial Training Program [ITP] this yr during my 2 mths hols in sept and oct. have to try and source a organization by myself so that i can 'work' during that 2 mths internship prog. & maybe .. i might go overseas? nt sure yet ... it depends. have to fill in the form ... my lecturer said that if we're interested in OITP [Overseas Industry Training Prog] .. we might get to go to China or some other countries!

well .... currently .. im still not sure abt this ITP/OITP stuff yet. i actually have some local organizations in mind. but OITP seems like a rather attractive option... though im abit scared lar ... to go overseas and "work" heehee :P my dad has been saying that if i have the chance during my poly years, i shld try and go overseas for attachment prog of sorts lar. so .... i also dnoe how now... ): yr 2 seems like a yr that has so mannnnyyy!! decisions to make.

ytd when my dad told me that 苏婆婆 passed away on friday morning .. i was rly shocked and i felt so sad. it's so sudden. this dear old lady is like another grandma to me. when i was young, she will always buy things for me.她真得很疼我.

at night, i cldn't help but cry, cldn't stop crying. nv felt like that before. i still find it a little hard to believe. Now, she has gone to be with the Lord, free from all pain and sickness.

i'll always remember her as a caring, kind, God-loving, cheerful old lady.

went to church in the morning to continue with ytd's work, finished another pamphlet in an hr and then headed to chinatown to get some stuffs. i think it's been like soooooo long since i went to chinatown. haha. felt like a lost sheep there following blindly :P oh i got to know this shop that sells like so many different types of things. esp. party stuffs, and it is like so super cheap. haha! (: & some parts of chinatown reminds me of HongKong's 花园街 (:

reach home at abt 1pm. i felt so tired that i slpt frm 1.30 to 6+pm. cos i've been waking up rather early for the past few days. heh. train myself to wake up early when sch reopens nxt monday XP

help out for the baoc orientation for the past 2 days. it's quite fun. got to know some of my juniors though they are from accounting course. they were like so shy and quiet during the first day. but soon, during the second day, which is their games day, they warmed up and became a group. cheered so much that i got sore throat alr. feeling tired too cos i had to reach sch by 7.30am for both days.

went to church in the morning at 9 tdy to do the pamphlets and ppt. for the mission fair happening during may. there's still like many other stuffs to do & i'm going to start sch sooooonnn. haha :P oh, and i realised that the church office is so so super cold, it's practically freezing in there :P tmr morning gotta go to chinatown to buy some stuffs. haa. luckily there's someone to drive me there, if nt i think i'll be too lazy to go on my own. heehee :P

i baked cookies tdy. turned out to be ... quite ok lar. haha (: cos my oven is spoilt, only the bottom-heat thing can work, so my cookies turned out hard at the bottom and soft at the top. it's a little chewy though .. nt those crunchy ... crispy kind. haha XD i think it's time to get a new oven. ha! :D

ytd Soar & Glowing had combine fellowship. we went for street evangelism. it was a nice experience & like before, i learnt many things from this experience.

i partnered jason & xueying and we went to plaza sing. at first i was a little hesitant cos i didn't rly know what shld i exactly do .... & jason was feeling rather tired cos he spent the whole night preparing the evangelism stuffs & it was xueying's first time. so we prayed to God to give us the courage to approach pple. cos it is a lil scary lar. haha :P

i learnt that we shld nv hold back & just go, & that we shldn't judge someone just by looking at them. cos there were a few occasions when we thought that the person wld be quite fierce, but he/she turned out to be very nice. & many of them were willing to stop and listen (: we didn't use 4SL. but mainly we just talked to them abt Good Friday. i guess it was more of like a "spreading the seeds" lar (:

Praise the Lord that we managed to approach many pple & that as the time passes by, we became more & more enthusiastic to approach more pple (: haha.
